About Me

Why Regeneration Pioneers?

My vision is to inspire a global movement that anchors regenerative approaches not only in environmental and climate issues, but also in social and economic systems.
Without positive visions of the future, we lack a shared direction. That’s where Regeneration Pioneers comes in: we create spaces for dialogue and the development of new societal visions — because future images must emerge collectively.

My Journey into Regeneration – Key Milestones

IT Sector (until 2012)

I started my career in the software industry, focusing on payroll systems — learning how processes and efficiency function.

2007–2012: Studies & First Encounters with Social Business

I studied Cultural Productions, focusing on the interplay between culture, politics, and economics. During this time, I met Muhammad Yunus and discovered the concept of Social Business — an encounter that deeply transformed my understanding of the economy.

2012–2017: Nepal – Building Social Businesses & Collaboration with Muhammad Yunus

I moved to Nepal and worked closely with social entrepreneurs. From 2013 to 2015, I had the unique opportunity to collaborate with Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus to develop sustainable business models.
During that time, I served as COO of Nepal Social Business and co-founded Career Disha Nepal with several Nepali colleagues — a platform that promotes educational opportunities and career orientation in Nepal.

Over time, I also became aware of the systemic challenges. One social entrepreneur wanted to produce affordable school uniforms — but without access to cheap fabric from questionable factories in Bangladesh, it simply wasn’t viable.
This realization deeply shaped my thinking about our financial and economic systems.

Since 2017: External Lecturer & Academic Practice

I began teaching as an external lecturer at institutions such as the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, focusing on sustainability in sport, culture, and event management.
Since then, I’ve been actively involved in research projects at the intersection of theory and practice. In 2024, I co-published a study on perceptions of sustainability, and in 2018, my article on the future of social business in Nepal appeared in the Handbook of Research on Small Business Social Responsibility.

2018: First Child & Return to Austria

The birth of my first child reshaped my perspective on long-term sustainability — both personally and professionally.

Since 2019: Forum Seitenstetten – A New Economic Order

I’ve been active in the Forum Seitenstetten, a platform for promoting a peace-oriented financial and economic system. I manage the network’s online communications and have since collaborated and exchanged ideas with numerous inspiring changemakers and visionaries.

2020–2022: Training in Tibetan Medicine & Deepening Meditation Practice

I deepened my practice and knowledge of meditation and the workings of the mind. This expanded my understanding of holistic health and confirmed that inner development is an essential part of regeneration.

2023/2024: Second Child & Realigning My Professional Path in Europe

The birth of my second child marked a conscious realignment of my professional direction in Europe. I now integrate meditation, mindset work, and inner development more deeply into my focus on sustainability, social business, and societal transformation — a convergence that culminates in the Regeneration Pioneers project.

My Mission Today

My mission is to support people in bringing regenerative solutions to life.
This requires three essential ingredients:
new strategies, a deep awareness of transformation (inspired by the Inner Development Goals and Buddhist thought), and new structures — within our organizations and throughout society.

These three aspects are always present in my work. Whether I’m helping visionary individuals take their projects to the next level, or supporting them in making their ideas both sustainable and financially viable, I bring a holistic lens to the process.

Systemic thinking plays a key role:
I support people and organizations in uncovering the deeper causes behind their challenges and opening up new perspectives on familiar problems.
My work combines analytical methods with participatory processes — to develop innovative solutions with lasting impact.

And when I stand in my permaculture garden at 800 meters above sea level, I’m reminded time and again:
Sustainable transformation is a process.
It takes patience, intuition, and the right lever at the right time.
